A series of six small-scale works in bronze.
Commissioned by TRACKS (The Rural Access Committee of Kinross-shire)
Completed 2014
Material: Cast Bronze
Diameter of each: 8.5cm
These works are integrated into Oak seating on the final section of a new network of pathways around the loch, they are site-specific, relating directly to commissioned couplets that reflect the landscape and heritage of the loch.
The designs were realised by carving them into plaster, taking rubber moulds from the carvings then pouring wax into the moulds, these wax versions were used in the process of lost wax bronze casting.
