The evolution of designs for a small commission for Lenzie Meadow Primary School. Simple prints with leaf shapes left blank were made during the process of the children using clay and leaves found in the playground to make designs for their own plaster plaques. I then used four of the leaf shapes to make three different designs which were made permanent on black polished granite. The background to the leaves was sandblasted away.
